Hi! I’m Kaya, I’ve been a Wedding and People photographer for six years now. In that time I’ve been lucky enough to be able to shoot across North America and the Middle East. Growing up in Southern Manitoba has heavily influenced my work ( I like to joke my brand is “ Long green grass” ) I love the rolling hills of a cow pasture, the creamy golds of wheat fields and the way the sky can go on forever. I come from a long line of storytellers, something I try my darndest to bring into  every element of my work. When you are in front of my camera, I want to be able to tell your story. I want you to feel like YOU, not some stiff posed version of yourself. If fifty years down the road you open your photo albums and show your grandkids the photos we took together and remember how you felt in them, then that’s all I could ever hope for as a photographer.  When I’m not photographing, you can find me in the woods or dreaming of my next adventure.
