Where are you based? Will you travel for my wedding?
I currently live in central Israel with my husband and two cute cats, but I’m always available to travel and am occasionally back in Canada visting!
Can I have every photo from our session? What about RAW files?
The short answer is no. The long answer is: I spend a large amount of time culling (fancy word for going through, selecting and deleting) all the photos that are either unflattering or duplicates. A huge part of the photographer/client relationship is trust, and as your photographer, you can trust that I will give you all the photos that really showcase you and your day. I promise to give you all the moments that you would ever want (maybe even a few more then that too!)
How long does editing take?
Portrait or family sessions usually take around 12-14 days, Wedding editing is between 4-6 weeks.
Sounds like a lot of pictures. Can we get a discount for skipping an engagement session?
The heart of the reason I offer complimentary engagement sessions with all my packages is to really get to know and engage with you as a couple. Its a chance for us to kick back together and hang out before the stress of the actual day. It’s a really good opportunity for you to see how I shoot and a good opportunity for me to see how you engage with one another as a couple, so when the big day rolls around, we are old friends ready to create some magic.
Can I share my photos on social media?
Please do! Tags are always appreciated but not required.
I feel awkward in front of the camera, will that be evident in my photos?
Heck no! I often have people reaching out to me saying “ I/my fianće/my family are worried we will be awkward on the shoot” and never once has that worried me. I use a mishmash of guided poses and going with the flow to capture the real you. The best moments are always the spontaneous candid ones and I find the combination really lends itself to creating those. One of most important things to me during a shoot are that you as the couple feel secure and comfortable in front of my camera so that you can focus on each other and not feel awkward or nervous. I’ll never leave you hanging out there, we are in this together.
